Vicky is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who received both her Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science in Nursing in 2019 from Regis College (Massachusetts) with rotations at Boston Children's Hospital, Hasbro Children's Hospital and Grenada for her graduate nursing experience.
Prior to joining PUA she was practicing in Pediatric & Adolescent Primary Care. She brings over 20 years of multi-disciplinary experience in the medical field working with all ages from NICU to geriatric patients.
While obtaining her first Bachelor's degree in Women's Studies at the University of Rochester, she gained clinical and research experience in Neuromuscular Disease, Cardiology and Electrophysiology. She later received her MBA during her work as a clinical representative at Medtronic and later joined the sales and marketing team at Boston Scientific. She found her passion for direct patient care and wellness consulting along the way while volunteering as a Reiki practitioner and baby cuddler at Boston based hospital Massachusetts General Hospital, where she would later have heart surgery herself in 2016. This is where she proved her practice in Reiki, mindfulness and ultimately hypnotherapy truly useful to help with her own healing process and relieve pain & suffering.
Trained as a nurse, she is always looking for evidence-based practices to partner with patients and families to promote faster healing. She is NASPE certified, Board Certified and Licensed Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, trained and certified Yoga and sound meditation, hypnotherapy and Reiki Master Teacher. She combines all of her experience to bring the best possible holistic care for her patients and their family.
