Steven C. Friedman

MD, FAAP, FACS

Dr. Friedman is the Chief of Pediatric Urology at Maimonides Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York, and has been a member of Pediatric Urology Associates since 1997. Since November of 2019, he has also served as the president of PUA.

​

Dr. Friedman has been honored by being listed in several issues of New York Magazine’s “Best Doctors in New York” in addition to Castle Connelly’s, “How to Find the Best Doctors in the Metropolitan Area.” He serves on the Board of directors of The Brooklyn School for Special Children, The Block Institute, as well as on multiple hospital committees.

Dr. Friedman has also participated on missions to provide pediatric urologic care to the children of Ecuador together with Dr. Schlussel and Dr. Fine.
